Welcome to the second issue of Ground Glass Documentaries.
This space was built to bypass the superficial and step directly into the realities of the human condition. For Volume 2, we are incredibly proud to feature six visual storytellers who understand that photography is a deliberate practice of confronting physical friction, observing unromanticized realities, and preserving what might otherwise remain unseen. Thorough research is the quiet foundation of this work, allowing these photographers to push past assumptions and document their subjects with genuine authority.
From the heavy, concrete toll of urban construction to the raw endurance of coastal survival and indigenous continuity, these six photo documentaries explore the deep ties between human labor, collective memory, and the worlds they inhabit.
