In traditional analog photography, a ground glass is the frosted screen where an image is projected upside-down, forcing the photographer to slow down, manually focus, and critically study the frame. We adopted this name because it perfectly embodies the art of deliberate seeing, a philosophy that rejects fast, disposable content in favor of slow, intentional, and deeply observed visual storytelling.
