3. Cohort Registration & Conduct For Ground Glass Experiences
All the experiences being offered by Ground Glass Atelier are intensive and curated with strictly limited capacity.
- Securing a Spot: A spot in the cohort is only confirmed once full payment is successfully processed and acknowledged via email. We reserve the right to review portfolios and applications to ensure participants align with the ethos of the designed experiences.
- Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to treat all local communities, artisans, and subjects with the utmost dignity. We reserve the right to remove any participant without refund, if their behavior is deemed unethical or disruptive.
- Liability: Participants are solely responsible for their personal safety and the security of their camera equipment while navigating active locations. Ground Glass Atelier assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged gear, nor for any personal injury sustained during such experiences. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because the Ground Glass Experiences require significant upfront logistical planning and limits the number of attendees, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced.
- Cancellations 30 days or more before the start date: 100% refund, minus a administrative processing fee, depending on the experience in question.
- Cancellations between 15 to 29 days before the start date: 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the start date: Strictly non-refundable.
- Studio Cancellations: In the highly unlikely event that Ground Glass Atelier must cancel an experience, participants will receive a full 100% refund of their registration fee. We are not responsible for any external travel or accommodation costs incurred by the participant.
5. Print Sales & Gallery Representation
Ground Glass Atelier acts as a gallery for emerging visual storytellers, where select works from them may be chosen for representation and sale as limited-edition prints.
- Creator Copyright: The visual storyteller retains the overarching copyright to all the images created by them.
- Licensing & Revenue: By accepting gallery representation, the visual storyteller grants Ground Glass Atelier a non-exclusive license to sell the selected image(s) as physical prints. Sale proceeds will be split 60/40 between the visual storyteller and Ground Glass Atelier, calculated on the net profit after base production and shipping costs.
- Withdrawal: Either party may terminate this specific licensing agreement for future print sales at any time by providing a 30-day written notice via email.
6. Shipping & Delivery Policy (Fine Art Prints)
We ship our fine art prints securely across India and internationally.
- Production Time: All prints are made to order. Please allow 15 business days for printing, quality inspection, and packaging before your order is dispatched.
- Shipping Timelines: Delivery timelines are completely dependent on choice of courier and delivery location. You will receive a tracking number via email once the package is handed to our courier partner.
- Damaged Prints: If a print arrives damaged, you must contact us at prints@groundglassatelier.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and print. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
