By submitting your photographic work (“The Work”) to Ground Glass Documentaries, an initiative of GROUND GLASS ATELIER (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED (“The Publisher”), you agree to the following terms:
1. Copyright and Ownership You retain full copyright and ownership of all submitted images. Ground Glass Documentaries does not claim ownership of your intellectual property.
2. Version This is the final version of the project you are submitting. Any more changes will not be accepted unless specifically required by the publisher, or mutually decided on case by case basis. The publisher can not be held responsible for the submitted older version of the project or parts thereof.
3. License for Editorial Use If your project is selected for publication, you grant The Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, publish, and archive The Work on the Ground Glass Documentaries website, affiliated social media channels, and digital platforms strictly for editorial and portfolio-showcase purposes.
4. Promotional Use You grant The Publisher the right to use select images from The Work to promote the specific featured publication of your documentary (e.g., an Instagram post announcing your photo essay). The Publisher will not use The Work to advertise unrelated commercial services or products without a separate, explicit commercial licensing agreement.
5. Attribution and Moral Rights The Publisher guarantees that you will be fully credited as the author of The Work in all publications, preserving your statutory moral rights.
6. Warranties and Liability You warrant and represent that:
- You are the sole creator and copyright owner of The Work.
- The Work does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property of any third party.
- The Work was photographed ethically in public spaces or with the consent of the subjects, and the publication of these images does not violate any individual’s reasonable expectation of privacy, nor does it portray them in a false or defamatory light.
7. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GROUND GLASS ATELIER (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, and its employees from any legal claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from a breach of the warranties outlined in Section 5, including third-party claims regarding copyright infringement or right of privacy violations.
8. Right of Removal You retain the right to request the removal of your published work from Ground Glass Documentaries at any time. The Publisher agrees to process takedown requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically 14 business days) upon receipt of written notice.
